Anthony (TONY) Werhle, class of 71 (deceased – March 2009) Sister: Pam Werhle Crabtree, class of 69. Anthony was born on September 12, 1953. Anthony died on March 21, 2009 at 55 years old. Tony owned several Christmas shops in what was then Victoria Station in Indianapolis. He still owned a house on Illinois St. in Indy when he died. In fact, he was remodeling it when he passed away. He spent a large part of his time in Florida after he sold his Christmas shop. He had been married to Anita Mong for many years, and they had a son together, Lee A. Wehrle, who is an officer with the Muncie Police Dept. Tinney (as the family called him) and Anita divorced many years ago.
He use to call his sister, Pam, when he was driving just to gripe about the "old" people in Florida and the way they drive.
